Image editing retouches a photo you already have. You describe the change instead of masking it by hand. Background removal, 4K upscale, brush edits, object removal and generative fill live here. It does not invent a product from a prompt. That is the image generator.
How to run an edit
- Upload the photo. Product shot, portrait or existing creative. Open AI image editing.
- Pick the tool. Background removal for a listing main image. Upscale when you need more pixels, not more invented detail. Brush or object removal when one region has to change and the rest should stay.
- Describe the change on brush and fill tools. Name the area and the result you want. Keep it concrete.
- Download. Credits follow still-image rates (shown in the studio). Free-tier output is watermarked. Paid packs include commercial use.
Listing backgrounds
Amazon requires the main listing image on pure white at RGB 255, 255, 255 with no props. Background removal is the edit that usually gets you there. It does not by itself make a listing compliant if the crop, size or props are still wrong. Google Merchant Center requires at least 500x500 from 31 January 2027 and recommends 1500x1500 or above.
Upscaling recovers resolution. It cannot restore detail that was never in the file. A soft phone photo stays a soft photo, just larger.
Frequently asked questions
What edits can I run?
Background removal, upscaling up to 4K, brush / inpainting, object removal, colour correction and generative fill. Pick the job, then describe the change if the tool asks for it.
Will background removal make my Amazon listing compliant?
It is usually the edit that gets the background to pure white. Amazon still requires no props or models on the main image, and a large enough file. Check the current policy.
How much does an edit cost?
Still-image rates: 5, 18 or 62 credits for 1024x1024 depending on quality; portrait and landscape sizes are 6, 16 or 50. The studio shows the figure before you run it.
When is Photoshop still faster?
A single hero retouch with a specific creative intent. This studio is built for the repetitive half: the same background removal across a catalogue, or an upscale before a print run.
